Supporting Women & Families Legislation – 103rd General Assembly – 2024 Legislative Package:

• HB 3361 (Spain – Haas) Establishes a School-Based Mental Health Services Grant Program. Requires the State Board of Education to establish a School-Based Mental Health Services Grant Program to award grants to schools for the purpose of providing supplemental mental health services to students, in addition to services provided by the employees of a school.
  
  
• HB 4056 (Haas – Hammond) Creates the Maternal Health and Wellbeing Workgroup to research and highlight the disparities between maternal health care throughout various geographic areas in the State.
  
  
• HB 4058 (Stephens – Haas) Anti-Bullying Bill. Provides that the name of the minor who is the alleged offender named in a juvenile law enforcement record may be disclosed to the victim or alleged victim named in the law enforcement record upon request by the victim.
  
  
• HB 4059 (Haas – Elik) Mandates DCFS to host Licensing Orientation Programs.
  
  
• HB 4073 (Windhorst – Haas) Creates the Medical Residency Education Fund to expand graduate medical education opportunities in the State. Provides that the State Board of Education shall establish a program to provide for funding to medical residency programs.
  
  
• HB 4521 (McLaughlin) Requires Cameras in Daycare Centers and CPR Certification for all Daycare Staff.
  
  
• HB 4670 (Elik) Creates a Manufacture Child Care Center Incentive Pilot Program.
